Meet other Spanish and Portuguese speaking families in Maailma Kylässä
During Saturday 25.5, the PICNIC groups will also gather to have a beautiful encounter of Spanish speaking families with children.
We will give more details about the place and time as soon as possible.
You’ll meet also Portuguese speaking families during the event, and if you want to create PICNIC in your own language, the Ninho team will be there to inform!
Ninho will collect second-hand children’s books in Spanish and Portuguese in Maailma Kylässä
The 2024 campaign to collect second-hand children’s books also starts in Maailma Kylässä. Every year, our Kolibrí Festivaali organizes a Children’s Book Fair in Spanish and Portuguese, where we sell second-hand books to support all Ninho’s projects.
So if you have children’s books in Spanish and Portuguese in good condition, you can take them to the Moniheli stand and our team will pick them up. With your books, you can make other children enjoy them again and help us to continue developing Ninho’s projects to create a more multicultural and plurilingual children’s culture in Finland.
Don’t miss other activities in Moniheli stand!
During the same 25.5, you’ll find more activities organised by other associations that, like Ninho, are members of Moniheli ry.
The association Think Africa will present its activities and the work they’ve been developing over the past 10 years.
Coro latinoamericano de Helsinki will also be there presenting their activities.
In Maailma Kylässä, or World Village Festival, you can also enjoy for free other funny activities for the whole family like music, culture, exhibitors, and discover many institutions and associations like Ninho.
This edition’s theme is ‘Courage’. The festival is organised by Fingo – Finnish Development Organisations Association.
