10th Edition of BESTOWAL: New Spanish & Portuguese Children’s Books for Finnish Libraries

10 editions and more than 700 books delivered to the Helmet and Multilingual Library collections by Kulttuurikeskus Ninho.

Ninho proudly continues to promote inclusion in children’s culture in Finland through the long‑term initiative “The Program for Enriching the Children’s Books Collection in Spanish & Portuguese in Finland’s Libraries.”

A New Delivery of 153 Contemporary Children’s Books

The Bestowal event took place at Mosaiikki Library (Vantaa), where we celebrated our ongoing work to enrich collections, introduce new voices and strengthen multilingual childhood in Finland.

Young readers and families had the opportunity to browse and borrow the new books immediately using their Helmet library cards.

This process is possible only thanks to the dedicated work of Helmet – Vantaa Library, who prepare and catalogue the books.
