PICNIC Family Art Encounters | Spanish speaking families with children

2 lovely communities to make friends, enjoy with your children, and read Helmet’s children’s literature collection in Spanish.

Día de Muertos – Family Day 2024

Kulttuurikeskus Ninho honors the Day of the Dead tradition with a beautiful program for children and their families. This year, the program includes: video installation, art workshop, a temporary installation, storytelling sessions in Spanish, Finnish and Swedish, and Alan Guerra’s concert, ‘A Mexican Bestiary’.

Baby Movement Workshop, by Mercedes Balarezo

Dance artist and member of the Spanish-speaking group PICNIC-Bebés, Mercedes Balarezo (EC), will share the movements and body games she practices with her adorable 8-month-old baby.
