Do your internship at Kulttuurikeskus Ninho
Develop a more diverse children’s culture in Finland while preparing for your future career

The Ninho Internship Program offers internship opportunities for committed and interested students. This is an integral component of our multicultural association’s goals, and provides concrete benefits to our projects: Kolibrí Festivaali, Lukupesä reading nest program, PICNIC family encounters among others.
Students doing an internship are actively involved in their assigned project or team and play an important role in some of the day-to-day operations of the association while achieving their internship learning objectives.
Our internship opportunities are available for individuals from diverse nations, geography, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender, religion, ability, spirituality, age, experiences, viewpoints, disciplines, etc.
The Ninho Internship Program
Ninho offers an intercultural and multilingual team environment, mentorship, and a wide array of learning opportunities for students interested in the non-profit sector.
Particularly, we offer the opportunity to learn and be active doing work that supports the creative expression, communication and participation of various immigrant and multicultural communities in the children’s culture sector.
Duration and location of the internship:
Our typical internship lasts 3 months, full or part-time (50% or 100% dedication). We can consider short-term full-time internships (5ECTS European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System). It is possible to extend an existing internship if the intern, their program, or supervisors agree and if it fits the schedule and resources of our association. Team projects are a possibility, depending on our needs and resources.
- Internships can be hybrid or in-person, depending on the position, but only for students located in Finland. In some special tasks, the internship could be completed exclusively online. This will be decided on a case-by-case basis.
- Please note we provide internship certificates, however, for the time being, Ninho can only offer unpaid internship opportunities.
- Students from Erasmus+ program can also be considered.
