The Autumn 2025 PICNIC season is just around the corner! After the summer break, Spanish-speaking families will be meeting again at Pasila Library in Helsinki. The first session is always something special. It’s a lovely chance to reconnect, chat about plans for the new season, and of course, enjoy music and children’s stories together!
Don’t miss this special PICNIC opening with a fun KABOOKS! session in Spanish.
To kick things off, Alicia Sevilla (MX) will be sharing playful and engaging stories, with live guitar music by Manuel Rosales (AR).
If you’re looking for a Spanish-speaking group for families with young children living in the Helsinki Metropolitan Area, this is a great moment to come along, meet the community, and enjoy a lovely time together.

PICNIC Bebés y Caminadores | Autumn 2025 Season
PICNIC is a weekly encounter in Spanish for families with babies and toddlers up to 6 years old. The two groups are organised by Kulttuurikeskus Ninho ry, in collaboration with Spanish-speaking families living in the Helsinki metropolitan area.
There are two different groups and no previous registration is needed:
- PICNIC Bebés meets every Tuesday.
- PICNIC Caminadores meets every Friday.
The first session of PICNIC Bebés will be on Tuesday 12.8.2025, from 12:00 to 2:00 pm.
The starting date for PICNIC Caminadores will be decided during the KABOOKS! session.
