PICNIC 2026 Spring Season is here! If you are looking for Spanish-speaking families with children, come along! PICNIC weekly encounters are designed as peer-support spaces, where you can meet other Spanish-speaking families, play, sing, learn together, and enjoy a safe-gathering while exploring the Spanish children’s literature collection at Helmet.

PICNIC 2026 will keep offering its weekly family meetups at Pasila Library (Helsinki) and we’re excited to announce the new group at Sello Library (Espoo)!

Spanish-speaking family encounters at Pasila Library:
🗓 Mondays until June ⏰ 5-6:30 pm 📌 Pasila Library (Green room of the Children’s section – 1st floor): Kellosilta 9, 00520 Helsinki) 🎟️ Free entrance. 🎟️ Free access. No previous registration is required. Just pass by! ♿ Accessible space.
🧸 Suggested ages: 1 year old approx. until 6 years old.
Spanish-speaking family encounters at Sello Library:
🗓 Fridays until June ⏰ 5-7 pm 📌 Sello Library (Jaminurkka room – 1st floor): Leppävaarankatu 9, 02600 Espoo 🎟️ Free access. No previous registration is required. Just pass by! ♿ Accessible space.
🧸 Suggested ages: all ages until 6 years old.
Remember to bring something healthy to share with the families! And if you have any books to suggest or read to children, bring them too!
